Gastroenterologist Physician

Job Summary

Bayview Physicians Group is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join their growing team in Suffolk, Virginia.

About the Role

This is an outpatient only position located within a well-equipped medical center that features:

• On-site Endoscopy Suite
• Ambulatory Surgery Center
• Advanced Imaging Services

Responsibilities

Split time between office and Ambulatory Surgery Center (Endoscopy Suite)

• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal disorders including GERD, IBD, IBS, live disease, colorectal condition, and more
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including: Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), Colonoscopy, Polypectomy, Biopsy
• Interpret results of endoscopic, laboratory, and imaging studies
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with GI and live conditions
• App supervision

Requirements

J1 and H1B sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Gastroenterology
• Current Medical License in Virginia
• Experience in outpatient gastroenterology
