Gas Station Store Manager

General Manager overseeing daily operations of a high-volume C-Store/Gas Station, including staffing, customer service, inventory, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise store cashiers and assistant manager to ensure excellent customer service.
• Motivate, encourage, and challenge employees while resolving customer complaints professionally and promptly.
• Enforce daily operating procedures to maintain a clean, well-stocked, organized, and safe store environment.
• Ensure merchandise is stocked, displays are attractive, pricing is accurate, and safety standards are met.
• Maintain brand image standards to pass evaluations.
• Supervise and discipline store employees, including the assistant manager.
• Monitor retail gasoline competitors daily.
• Complete daily paperwork and computer entries accurately and on time.
• Track cash over/short, inventory shrinkage, and drive-offs daily.
• Conduct store meetings with employees (minimum one per month).
• Perform all duties of a store cashier as needed.
• Understand and act on daily store operations reporting.
• Enforce all company policies and established procedures.
• Implement monthly promotions and ensure POS advertising/signage is posted correctly and on time.
• Execute price changes, markdowns, and markups as requested; communicate pricing issues to management.
• Enforce merchandising and vendor policies and procedures.
• Monitor and report safety and security issues; conduct regular safety meetings and document attendance.
• Report and process all employee and customer incidents or accidents.

Requirements

• College education preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of management experience required.
• Grocery experience required.
• Hot food experience required.
• Ordering merchandise experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Physical ability to perform store cashier duties regularly.

Pay

$24.00 per hour.

Schedule

First shift (day). Full-time, on-site position.

Public transportation accessible. Drug test required.
