Job Duties
- Maintains proper function of gas pumps during operation.
- Affixes labels to gas station filters and arranges for their replacement.
- Cleans gas spills using neutralizing agents and absorbing cloths, ensuring proper disposal.
- Maintains cleanliness of the station, including dispensers, data sheds, islands, pavement, and trash.
- Loads pump receipt tape and ribbons.
- Performs inspections of all equipment, conducts routine maintenance on filters and nozzles, and controls open/closed signs.
- Researches and documents area competitive pricing.
- Maintains safety by monitoring fuel deliveries and ensuring adherence to safety precautions and documentation.
- Responds to alarms appropriately, using a fire extinguisher if necessary, and ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Operates vehicles, equipment, or machinery as needed.
- Assists with departmental tasks as necessary.
- Supports other departments within the warehouse as needed.
