Job Duties
- Maintains proper function of gas pumps during operation.
- Affixes labels to gas stations and monitors traffic flow.
- Assists and educates members regarding gas station operations.
- Changes gas station filters and performs routine maintenance.
- Cleans gas spills using appropriate agents and disposing of materials.
- Maintains cleanliness of the station, including dispensers, data shed, islands, pavement, and trash.
- Loads pump receipt tape and ribbons.
- Performs inspections, conducts routine maintenance on filters and nozzles, and controls signage.
- Researches and documents area competitive pricing.
- Maintains fuel deliveries, ensuring safety precautions and completing documentation.
- Enforces national fire codes and Costco safety policies.
- Responds to alarms appropriately, using a fire extinguisher if necessary.
- Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Operates vehicles, equipment, or machinery as needed.
- Assists with department duties as assigned.
- Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate vehicles, equipment, or machinery.
- High level of member service.
- Knowledge of gas station operations and safety protocols.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness.
- Basic computer skills for research and documentation.
