Gas Station Attendant

Job Duties

• Maintains proper function of gas pumps during operation.
• Affixes labels to gas stations as needed.
• Assists members with inquiries and issues.
• Performs routine maintenance and inspections of station equipment.
• Ensures cleanliness of the station, including dispensers, data shed, islands, pavement, and trash.
• Loads pump receipt tape and ribbons.
• Performs equipment inspections, maintains filters and nozzles, and controls sign status.
• Researches and documents area competitive pricing.
• Maintains fuel delivery safety, completes documentation, and enforces fire codes.
• Responds to alarms, uses fire extinguishers, and ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Operates vehicles, equipment, or machinery as necessary.
• Assists with department and warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to operate vehicles, equipment, or machinery.
• High level of member service.
• Knowledge of gas station operations and safety protocols.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar position preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
