Pier Sixty-Six Resort, South Florida’s beacon of hospitality, invites dedicated, energetic, and polished hospitality enthusiasts to join our team as a Food & Beverage Supervisor at Windows 66. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, you will lead the restaurant and bar operation with passion and creativity, ensuring exceptional five-star service while assisting other F&B outlets as needed.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the bar and indoor/outdoor seating areas of the restaurant in a supervisory capacity, as well as cross-utilize in other food and beverage outlets when necessary.
- Ensure all guests receive a flawless welcome and dining experience through attentive restaurant service staff.
- Fill in wherever needed to uphold the utmost in guest service, adhering to Forbes standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures while ensuring smooth service flow and coordination between the kitchen and front-of-house.
- Address staff concerns and customer feedback to improve overall service and team dynamics.
- Train and motivate staff to maintain the highest standards of service and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of the immediate work area and general property.
- Resolve issues promptly and professionally to sustain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware, and garnishes for beverages and food.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED recommended.
- Must be TIPS certified or become certified within 30 days of hire.
- Must have a current Food Handlers card.
- Minimum of one year of supervisor experience in a luxury resort setting is preferred.
- Ability to interact effectively with all associates and guests of the resort.
- Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work under variable temperature conditions.
- Capability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
