Food & Beverage Supervisor - GARNI Restaurant

Responsibilities

• Ensures welcoming physical atmosphere and cleanliness of the department, including inspecting tabletops, countertops, and side stations.
• Communicate information to the service team giving them the knowledge to be individually empowered.
• Handle guest concerns professionally, resolving issues with empathy and urgency.
• Utilize the Freedom to Go Beyond to resolve guest issues promptly and with great care.
• Enjoy multi-tasking at a fast pace while having an impeccable eye for detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Supervise the performance, attendance, attitude, appearance, and conduct of the service team.
• Aid in the development, training, and inspiration of outlet staff.
• Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate goals, menu changes, and service priorities.
• Monitor team performance and provide on-the-spot feedback and support.
• Assist with onboarding and cross-training of new staff.
• Absorb opening and closing duties, ensuring checklist completion.
• Absorb inventory control, ordering, and restocking.
• Absorb scheduling and labor management in coordination with the manager.
• Absorb accurate cash handling, POS procedures, and daily reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge. Alcohol service and Food Handler certifications are required. Familiarity of restaurant terminology and food service techniques is preferred.
• Flexibility. This is a demanding business, and we look for flexibility with workdays and hours, but it is also a lot of fun!
• Experience. Previous experience and enthusiasm for being part of a diverse team of passionate people and providing authentic experiences and distinctively different services to others in a team-oriented food and beverage environment.
