Garage Support Fueler

Garage Support Fueler position in Shelbyville, IN, providing essential support to the service shop including vehicle fueling, maintaining shop cleanliness, and parts pick-up/delivery. Work is performed outside with canopy coverage.

Responsibilities

• Fuel fleet vehicles
• Perform pre/post trip inspections
• Replenish vehicles with fuel, grease, fluids (oil, water, windshield cleaner), and air (tires) as needed
• Complete daily fueling logs
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years in an automotive repair environment within a supportive role
• Valid Driver’s License - Class C
• Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
• Mechanical aptitude preferred, but not required
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to move and position heavy objects
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and crawl to perform duties
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions

Working Conditions

• Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing job duties
• Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes, and noise
• Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases, or other irritants

Pay

$20-22/hour, depending on experience. Competitive hourly pay with monthly incentives, paid weekly every Friday.

Schedule

Wednesdays 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM & Thursday – Saturday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
