Responsibilities

• Assist mechanics with various tasks
• Chase parts and tools
• Steam clean and wash parts
• Fuel trucks and refer trailers
• Perform tire maintenance
• Conduct trailer preventative maintenance
• Make simple adjustments or repairs to trucks, trailers, and dollies
• Read work orders and follow verbal instructions
• Model "Customer 1st" behavior and deliver excellent customer service
• Operate a lift truck, diesel truck, and fuel truck

Requirements

• Less than high school education plus six months experience in general work; or combination of relevant education and experience
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to pass drug test
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work weekends and overtime on a frequent basis
• Ability to travel independently on a rare basis
• Ability to work any shift(s)
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and projects
• Valid driver's license
• Lift truck certification/license
• Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure (desired)
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
