Garage - Fueler

About the role

The Garage-Fueler-Spotter position at Ben E. Keith Company is responsible for various tasks including backing delivery equipment to dock doors, fueling tractor/trailers, and maintaining accurate fueling records.

Responsibilities

• Back delivery equipment to dock doors
• Ensure proper fuel is used and document miles, gallons, and equipment numbers legibly
• Maneuver tractor/trailer through wash bay and wash equipment
• Recognize length of trailers at a glance
• Fuel tractor/trailer
• Document fueling details accurately
• Operate refrigerated trailers if necessary
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate effectively
• Follow detailed instructions
• Perform extensive walking and climbing
• Be flexible to change
• Have no criminal record
• Have 6 months heavy equipment truck driving experience

Requirements

• Able to back tractor trailer to dock doors
• Able to maneuver equipment through narrow wash bay
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of refrigerated trailer operation helpful
• Able to follow detailed instructions
• Able to communicate effectively

Qualifications

• High School graduate/GED
• 6 months heavy equipment truck driving experience

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
