About the role

Ben E. Keith Company, established over a century ago, is a leading distributor of fine food and premium beverages. The Garage-Fueler - Spotter position plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient and accurate deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Back delivery equipment to dock doors using a detailed list with specific size of equipment and door number assignments.
• Complete tasks accurately, including fueling tractor/trailer and documenting miles, gallons, and equipment numbers legibly.
• Maneuver tractor/trailer through wash bay and wash equipment.
• Recognize length of trailers at a glance.

Requirements

• Able to back tractor trailer to dock doors.
• Able to maneuver equipment through narrow wash bay.
• Fast-paced environment skills required.
• Knowledge of refrigerated trailer operation helpful.
• Able to follow detailed instructions.
• Able to communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Heavy equipment truck driving experience for at least 6 months.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of refrigerated trailer operation (helpful).
