About the role
As an Arcade Game Technician at Five Star Parks & Attractions, you will handle calls on the game floor, bowling, and simulators. You will perform basic preventative maintenance on machines, inform the Technical Manager of potential machine problems, assess every game every week, complete weekly projects and tasks, maintain stocking levels in instant win games, and keep the facility clean.
Responsibilities
- Handles calls on the game floor, bowling, and simulators.
- Performs basic preventative maintenance on machines.
- Informs Technical Manager of potential machine problems.
- Assesses every game every week.
- Completes weekly projects and tasks.
- Completes weekly maintenance sheet as assigned by Technical Manager.
- Completes weekly cleaning checklist.
- Maintains a neat and orderly workshop.
- Maintains a safe work environment and ensures staff follow all safety rules.
- Maintains game appearance and stocking throughout open hours.
Requirements
- No prior experience or training required, but some mechanical background is preferred.
- Working knowledge of the Internet and Microsoft Office Professional.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and employees.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Ability to perform these operations using units of fractions and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Qualifications
- A natural attention to detail, willingness to learn, self-drive, and technical mindedness.
- Consistent activity such as walking, bending, and lifting.
- Ability to work holidays and weekends.
