About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the museum's online presence, including social media platforms, website updates, and digital marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the museum's website for search engines and user experience.
- Create and implement social media campaigns to engage the community and promote events.
- Analyze website traffic and social media metrics to inform future strategies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency in messaging across all platforms.
- Develop and maintain the museum's digital marketing plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing or a similar field.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and analytics tools.
- Experience with content creation and social media management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in web development and design tools such as WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and their analytics tools.
- Experience with email marketing and CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
