About the Role

The Entrepreneurship Program Support Intern assists in executing strategies to build capacity of the Girl Scout product program (Cookie Sale Program and Fall Product Sale) to increase awareness and knowledge among all volunteers and parents of Girl Scouts – Western Oklahoma and within the community.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in planning, designing, and implementing innovative approaches to ensure the effective delivery of the Girl Scout product sales program.
  • Maintains and distributes orders and inventory of the Cookie Cupboard.
  • Maintains accurate records of product inventory, sales records, and reports.
  • Works directly with product program vendor representatives to arrange needed support and training for staff and volunteers, including paperwork, incentives, software, product knowledge, and other related areas.
  • Maintains cookie booth information and works with community partners to establish locations.
  • Assists with retail research and feedback surveys.
  • Assists with planning reward experiences.
  • Collaborates with Service Unit team volunteers on all aspects of the Service Unit cookie sales, including Service Unit cookie training, booth sales, cookie rallies, etc.
  • Provides timely and appropriate customer service to girls, parents, and volunteers.
  • Actively participates in the development of environments that foster diversity, equity, inclusion, and access through words, actions, and attitude.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Must carry and show proof of 100/300/100 liability coverage on personal vehicle.
  • Valid Oklahoma state driver’s license.
  • Medium Work: ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 20 pounds.
  • Occasional exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to travel within the council jurisdiction; continuous use of a vehicle required.
  • Ability to speak and communicate clearly, including in public speaking engagements.

Qualifications

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Business math skills.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to multitask.
  • Self-starter with ability to manage time, work independently, and handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to successfully handle conflict resolution.
  • Professional human relations skills.
  • Computer literate with word processing and Excel skills (e.g., Microsoft Office systems).
  • Ability to navigate and use Salesforce, EBudde databases, or similar software.

Department Preferences

  • Majoring in Advertising, Education, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Public & Non-Profit Administration, or Sociology.
  • Sophomore standing or higher.

Pay

Targeted hourly pay of $12.00, depending on experience. Benefits not eligible.

Schedule

  • Position available August 24, 2026 through May 14, 2027.
  • Schedule flexible around student’s work schedule.
  • 10–20 hours per week, including nights and weekends.
  • Travel may be required.
