Responsibilities

• Train and plan for the class based on the camp curriculum
• Create a positive and safe environment for students
• Determine and teach students’ skill sets in daily STEM classes
• Provide feedback to parents after camp sessions
• Clean the dojo daily to maintain corporate standards
• Report weekly to the Assistant Center Director or Director on progress
• Submit weekly reports to the Director/Owner detailing activities and productivity

Requirements

• Experience in creating engaging video game experiences
• Experience in 3D modeling and animation, game design, and storyboarding
• Experience with Unity, Maya, and GitHub (a plus)
• Experience working with children aged 5 and up (mentoring, coaching, tutoring)
• Experience working with the general public
• Experience in teaching, mentoring, or child care
• Works well with others; collaborates effectively
• Knowledgeable about coding and technology; able to quickly pick up basic concepts
• Must be fun to work with and enjoy working in fast-paced environments where requirements can change frequently
