Future Opening: Camp Instructor (Coding, Roblox & Minecraft)
About the role
Communicate with parents and campers before, during, and after the camps.
Coach and mentor kids in coding and STEM curriculum, including Minecraft, Roblox, block-based languages, robotics, 3D modeling, and more.
Complete training courses for our proprietary curriculum.
Create a positive and safe environment in which students can grow.
Provide feedback to parents on student progress.
Responsibilities
- Think on the fly and be perceptive to center dynamics, instructor needs, parent requests, and kid's needs.
- Perform extra duties as needed, including organizing, cleaning, and maintaining center equipment and facilities.
- Clean classroom and bathrooms throughout the day to ensure cleanliness.
- Report as needed to Center Director or lead instructor with respect to the day’s activities, efficiency & productivity in the classroom.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, organize, or lead within workgroups, clubs, teams, etc.
- Knowledgeable about, or willing to learn, introductory concepts in coding.
- Demonstrated experience with children ages 7-14 in babysitting, childcare, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, etc.
- Works well with others; enjoys collaboration and teamwork.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Fun to work with and enjoy fast-paced environments where requirements can change frequently.

Skills
