About us

Code Ninjas is a kids coding franchise focused on teaching video game development through a game-based curriculum. We operate centers in the Atlanta Metro area, offering week-long summer camps that run from late May to early August. Our mission is to inspire and educate children, providing them with the skills to become problem solvers.

Summer Camps

We offer week-long summer camps at all our centers. These camps are designed for children aged 7-14 and focus on video game development using platforms like Minecraft, Roblox, and block-based languages. The camps are led by experienced instructors who engage children in a fun, safe, and inspiring environment.

• Communicate with parents and campers before, during, and after the camps
• Ability to think on the fly and be perceptive to center dynamics, instructor needs, parent requests, and kid's needs
• Coach and mentor kids in coding and STEM curriculum, including Minecraft, Roblox, block-based languages, robotics, 3D modeling, and more
• Complete training courses for our proprietary curriculum
• Create a positive and safe environment in which students can grow
• Provide feedback to parents on student progress
• Perform extra duties as needed, including organizing, cleaning, and maintaining center equipment and facilities
• Clean classroom and bathrooms throughout the day to ensure cleanliness
• Report as needed to Center Director or lead instructor with respect to the day’s activities, efficiency & productivity in the classroom

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to supervise, organize, or lead within workgroups, clubs, teams, etc.
• Knowledgeable about, or willing to learn, introductory concepts in coding
• Experience with children ages 7-14 in babysitting, childcare, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Fun to work with and enjoy fast-paced environments where requirements can change frequently

• College students looking to build their resume and earn while doing so
• Elementary School teachers looking for summertime income and fun
• High school seniors with experience working kids camps
