A Day in the Life

• Performs complex repairs of furniture in customer homes, the warehouse, and in stores as assigned
• Reports product quality or trend issues to Supervisor or Lead
• Installs and orders all necessary parts
• Maintains showroom quality furniture for delivery to customers
• Maintains adequate supplies, parts and tools to perform the job
• Maintains proper storage of chemicals and/or hazardous materials per OSHA standards
• Learns and maintains product knowledge
• Cleans up and disposes of boxes, packing material, and pallets, as well as general housekeeping of facility and specific product line areas
• Rotates through different departments, as necessary, to meet the demands of the business
• Participates in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position
• Performs all job tasks assigned by the leadership staff to achieve and maintain daily productivity and quality goals

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in repairing furniture or carpentry
• Basic English Language proficiency
