Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Furniture Repair and Refinishing Technician in Smyrna, TN to work on a contract basis. This role involves restoring and refinishing furniture to meet quality standards while ensuring timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and refinishing on wooden, metal, and upholstered furniture.
• Prepare surfaces, including sanding, stripping, and cleaning.
• Apply stains, paints, or varnishes to achieve desired finishes.
• Inspect furniture for structural integrity and aesthetic consistency.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe, working condition.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in furniture repair and refinishing.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment.
• Knowledge of woodworking techniques and finishing products.
• Ability to read and interpret repair diagrams or instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
