About the Role
As the Fund Manager, you will be responsible for managing investment portfolios, evaluating investment opportunities, overseeing fund performance, and building relationships with investors, founders, and strategic partners. You will play a critical role in developing investment strategies, conducting due diligence, managing portfolio risk, and supporting businesses addressing significant global challenges through innovation and entrepreneurship.
Responsibilities
- Investment Strategy
- Develop and execute investment strategies aligned with fund objectives.
- Identify high-potential investment opportunities across target sectors.
- Evaluate market trends, economic conditions, and emerging industries.
- Drive portfolio diversification and long-term value creation.
- Portfolio Management
- Oversee investment performance across the fund portfolio.
- Monitor portfolio companies and provide strategic guidance where appropriate.
- Review financial performance, operational metrics, and growth opportunities.
- Optimize portfolio allocation and capital deployment.
- Due Diligence & Investment Analysis
- Lead financial, commercial, and operational due diligence.
- Conduct valuation analysis and investment modelling.
- Assess investment risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Prepare investment memoranda and recommendations for investment committees.
- Investor & Stakeholder Relations
- Build strong relationships with investors, founders, advisors, and ecosystem partners.
- Present investment performance and portfolio updates.
- Support fundraising activities and investor communications.
- Represent the fund at industry events and strategic meetings.
- Governance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with investment policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain strong governance and reporting standards.
- Monitor market risks and portfolio exposure.
- Promote disciplined investment decision-making and fiduciary responsibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- MBA, CFA, CAIA, or other relevant investment qualification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 8–12 years' experience in investment management, venture capital, private equity, asset management, or corporate finance.
- Proven experience managing investment portfolios and capital allocation.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and investment analysis skills.
- Experience conducting investment due diligence and portfolio management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong commercial judgment with the ability to identify long-term investment opportunities.

- USD $150,000 – $220,000 annual salary
