About The Role

The Fund Manager is responsible for managing, modeling, and reporting for all types of a limited partnership's tax credit investments and related entities. This role maintains and audits fund models within CAHEC's existing portfolio of limited partnership investment entities while leading analyst efforts to evaluate and direct the capital needs for assigned funds, ensuring data integrity and preparing timely investor reports. This position is exempt.

Responsibilities

  • Manage investor reporting for partnership entities from inception to dissolution.
  • Manage the investment model for each partnership entity, updating fee structure, operating expenses, project tax losses, capital calls, line of credit utilization, tax documentation, and projections.
  • Manage the cash needs of partnership entities to ensure available funds to disburse according to timeline.
  • Prepare investor reports, including financial statements, and deliver within designated timelines.
  • Prepare tax-related schedules, and review and reconcile tax returns to systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or an equivalent combination of education and comparable work experience.
  • Minimum three years of progressive work experience in real estate investments or an equivalent financial field.
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP and the ability to run complex Excel models, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage confidential data.
  • Experience with Excel (intermediate level), Word, Outlook, Adobe, and accounting software.
  • Ability to travel by commercial airline or automobile to meet with partners, visit properties in CAHEC's investment portfolio, and attend industry events and training.
