Fund Analytics Associate

About the role

Responsibilities

• Perform fund-level financial analysis and modeling
• Monitor and report on fund performance
• Create 3-statement fund financial models
• Model and analyze DCF, IRR, and MOIC
• Analyze sensitivity and scenario for portfolio returns
• Benchmark against comparable funds or industry metrics
• Track KPIs and portfolio performance metrics
• Support QoE analysis for commercial, operational, and risk diligence
• Prepare investment memos, fund reports, and investor communications

Requirements

• Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
• Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training
• Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)

Qualifications

• Ex-investment banking, private equity, venture capital, private credit, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of fund-level analytics, portfolio management, or reporting experience
• Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience in fund analytics, portfolio monitoring, or financial modeling
• Entry to mid-level analysts with strong technical, analytical, and reporting skills

Pay

$50–$200/hour (based on Analyst Rating Score, credentials, and approvals)
