Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue by booking birthday parties and track pending birthday parties.
  • Verify and reconfirm incoming and current groups/events.
  • Communicate regularly with other supervisors.
  • Provide special assistance to all guests and groups, addressing requests immediately.
  • Assist with special groups and events.
  • Support team members and other departments as needed.
  • Coordinate with other departments regarding food orders.
  • Handle guest complaints, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Resolve minor problems or guest requests promptly.
  • Operate and instruct guests on Tumble Town play structure, Bumper Cars, Lazer Tag, and game equipment.
  • Verify party totals and ensure collection of party revenue and deposits.
  • Process guest payments via cash, credit cards, room charges, and comp numbers.
  • Maintain legible and thorough record keeping of daily shift paperwork and department files.
  • Answer and direct phone calls professionally and promptly.
  • Make announcements using the PA system.
  • Respond to emergency situations and contact proper channels as needed.
  • Communicate accurately and professionally via email, phone, and in-person.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures for the venue.
  • Run beginning and end-of-shift reports.
  • Manage labor for attendants during shifts and lead the team productively.
  • Inventory venue items and communicate needs to management in a timely manner.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in cash handling.
  • Regular attendance and ability to complete job responsibilities in a timely manner.
  • Courteous, respectful, and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute to a positive work environment and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong verbal communication in English, including participation in meetings.
  • Ability to multitask, handle interruptions, and remain composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in complex reading, writing, math, and task completion.
  • Skills in clerical work, coordination, analyzing, supervising, instructing, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem-solving, independent judgment, and decision-making.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends as needed.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.

Qualifications

Previous guest service experience preferred, or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Physical Demands

  • Constantly sitting, standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending, crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and balancing during shifts.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs constantly.
  • Constant repetitive use of both hands, including light grasping and occasional firm/strong grasping motions.
  • Constant finger dexterity required for both hands.
  • Constant use of vision abilities, including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.
