Amusement (Arcade) Supervisor

About the role

We’re looking for a Supervisor to help lead the team at our new family entertainment facility opening soon at North County Mall, Escondido. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about video games, bowling, karaoke, and enjoy working in a fun environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction by being constantly visible and readily accessible to our customers.
• Explains game operation or rules to customers, and responds to customer complaints of machine glitches through troubleshooting.
• Aids the Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in planning and preparing work schedules, and assigning tasks to employees.
• Ensures all store amusement employees are properly trained.
• Achieves departmental sales goals by being present on the floor to offer personal sales support.
• Conducts till checks, refunds, credits, and ticket adjustments in accordance with company policy.
• Supervises department employees to ensure they comply with established operational practices and policies.
• Manages opening and closing department procedures.
• Controls payout ratios of crane operations by closely monitoring pay-out numbers and customer volume.
• Maintains store inventory levels on a daily basis.
• Cross-trains in other departments for assistance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Open availability, especially nights and weekends, is required.
• At least 21 years old to handle and serve alcohol.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years retail management experience, preferably in the entertainment, retail, or hospitality industries.
