Job Responsibilities
- Provides leadership, communication, and coaching to employees.
- Cultivates a motivated environment of trust, teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, and ownership.
- Consistently model a positive attitude.
- Plans, organizes, and directs daily activities to meet or exceed established goals in a cost-effective manner.
- Covers all related customer issues by coordinating with other departments.
- Conducts small and large team meetings to communicate plant performance to Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
- Trains, or facilitates the training of, new associates in all aspects of their job function.
- Administers policies and procedures.
- Communicates and supports strict adherence to quality standards.
- Ensures quality goals and objectives are met on a daily basis.
- Ensures efficient location of materials.
- Maintains a clean and safe plant.
- Initiates process improvements.
- Supports 5S initiatives.
- Communicates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
- Solves complex problems with minimal assistance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field preferred.
- Minimum of five years manufacturing experience with demonstrated leadership skills required; vehicle assembly line experience in a leadership role preferred.
- Possess a CDL, or be willing to obtain.
- Clean driving record.
- Positive attitude.
- Proven ability to plan and handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Creative and innovative team player.
- Intermediate computer skills are required.
- Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
- Versatile, flexible, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Leadership attributes and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
