About the role
The Amusement Supervisor supports the Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in managing the Amusement (Arcade) Department. This role requires open availability, especially nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction by being constantly visible and readily accessible to customers.
- Explain game operation or rules to customers, and respond to customer complaints of machine glitches through troubleshooting.
- Assist Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in planning and preparing work schedules, and assigning employees to specific duties.
- Ensure all store amusement employees are properly trained.
- Achieve departmental sales goals by being on the floor to provide personal sales support.
- Conducts till checks, refunds, credits, and ticket adjustments in accordance with company policy.
- Supervise department employees to ensure they are in compliance with established operational practices and policies.
- Conducts opening and closing department procedures.
- Control payout ratios of crane operations by remaining highly attentive to pay out numbers and customer volume.
- Aid Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in monitoring store inventory levels on a daily basis.
- Cross-trained in other departments for assistance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Open availability, especially nights and weekends
- At least 21 years old to handle and serve alcohol
Qualifications
- 2-3 years retail management experience, preferably in the entertainment / retail / hospitality industries.
