Fully Remote EPB Sr. Audit Manager or Director | Up to $225K Base + Bonus

About the role

The firm is expanding its Employee Benefit Plan (EBP) audit practice and is looking for an experienced Audit Senior Manager or Audit Director to join the team. This is a senior-level opportunity to take ownership of complex EBP engagements, lead and develop an audit team, work directly with clients, and play a key role in the continued growth of the practice. You’ll join an established national firm with the infrastructure and resources to support your growth, while having significant autonomy to help build something new. The primary focus will be EBP audits, but the remainder of your audit portfolio can be aligned with your background and areas of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Help build and expand the firm’s EBP audit practice
• Develop relationships with prospective clients and referral sources
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Lead and oversee EBP audit engagements
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and become a key representative of the firm
• Work closely with firm leadership to develop and execute market growth strategies
• Mentor and develop Managers, Seniors, and Staff
• Contribute to the continued growth and evolution of the EBP practice

Requirements

• Active CPA preferred
• 10+ years of public accounting and audit experience
• Strong Employee Benefit Plan audit experience
• Demonstrated experience managing complex audit engagements
• Comfortable owning and developing client relationships
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills
• Leadership experience managing and developing audit professionals
• Ability to operate independently in a remote environment

Pay

$170K–$225K+ base salary
