Full-Time Warehouse Operations Manager

About the role

The Warehouse Operations Manager oversees multiple departments within a distribution center, ensuring operational excellence, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse supervisors and associates, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
• Manage safety programs, conduct audits, and ensure compliance to maintain a zero-injury environment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN methodologies, optimizing productivity and reducing waste.
• Develop strategies in collaboration with leadership to enhance throughput, safety, and cost-efficiency.
• Set performance goals, monitor KPIs, and promote innovation and process enhancements.

Requirements

• 3-5 years in warehouse operations with leadership experience; associate's degree or relevant experience.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and operational software.
• Preferred: Lean Six Sigma certification or higher education.

Physical & Other Requirements

• Must be able to lift 30-40 pounds repeatedly and work in varied warehouse environments, including cold storage.
