Full-Time Unit Manager, RN

About the role

Oversee a nursing unit to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care that achieves positive clinical outcomes, patient and family satisfaction, and staff engagement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to ensure adequate nursing coverage and safe care.
• Participate in developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care goals with interdisciplinary teams.
• Mentor and educate nursing staff, coordinate with physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Oversee medication management, ensuring proper handling and supply management.
• Provide direct patient care to maintain clinical skills.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree, Nursing Diploma, or BSN.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience, including at least one year in nurse leadership.
• Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
