Full-Time Tenure Track Faculty - Addiction Studies

Primary Responsibilities

• Create courses to meet learning outcomes and promote student engagement.
• Foster a learning environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Employ various assessments to ensure student learning and goal attainment.
• Help students achieve academic, personal, and career goals.
• Contribute to and lead in academic and professional communities.
• Provide instruction during scheduled class times.
• Deliver lectures and discussions on relevant topics.
• Prepare and grade examinations, evaluations, and student work.

Qualifications

• M.S. in Clinical Psychology or Master’s degree in Social Work (with CADC certification).
• Minimum of 2-3 years teaching experience, preferably in higher education.
• At least 5 years of social work experience and CADC certification.
• Knowledge of instructional technology and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups.
• Experience with a diverse, multilingual student population.
