Tenure Track Faculty, Counseling

About the role

Two full‑time tenure‑track faculty positions in Counseling, one based at Eastern Campus and one at Westshore Campus, reporting to the Assistant Dean of Counseling. The role involves academic, personal, career, and transfer counseling for diverse student populations (including College Credit Plus students), possible teaching, committee work, outreach, and technology‑enhanced student success initiatives. Responsibilities

• Performs a full range of academic, personal, career, and transfer counseling activities with diverse student populations.
• Assists college students (including College Credit Plus students) in developing academic and career goals.
• Creates and develops educational academic plans to degree/certificate completion and/or transfer.
• Identifies and develops strategies and skills for adapting to the educational environment.
• Provides academic counseling to students in academic curriculum areas.
• May provide crisis intervention.
• Assignment includes day, evening and weekend hours.
• May teach General Studies courses and student success workshops as needed.
