Full Time Temporary Faculty, Occupational Therapy

About the role

Nine-month, full-time temporary faculty position beginning Fall 2026 or Spring 2027. Primary campus location is Roanoke; teaching across Radford and Roanoke locations and in both MOT tracks (in-person and hybrid) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Teach across the curriculum
• Advise and mentor MOT graduate students
• Supervise Level I fieldwork students
• Serve on a variety of departmental committees
• Participate in curriculum and program development

Requirements

• Hold at least a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Be currently certified by NBCOT
• Be eligible for licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in the Commonwealth of Virginia

Preferred Qualifications

• More than three years of clinical experience in OT
• Teaching experience in higher education
• Experience working with underserved and/or diverse populations
• Experience as a clinical educator
