Full Time Student Programs Coordinator
This is a 10-month, full-time position (Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week) with full benefits.
About the role
The Student Programs Coordinator manages Student Connections groups during the school day and oversees the Voyagers Afterschool Program for middle-school students. Student Connections is a proactive, school-day program that promotes students’ emotional well-being and fosters positive interpersonal, social, emotional, and academic growth by teaching developmentally appropriate coping skills and problem-solving techniques. The Voyagers Afterschool Program provides a safe, engaging space for middle-school students on Tuesdays and Thursdays (with potential expansion) through academic and enrichment activities tailored to student needs, trending topics, and survey results.
Responsibilities
- Oversee lesson plans used by Voyager instructors and Student Connections group facilitators.
- Select and develop curriculum that is research- and evidence-based.
- Ensure all curricula and lessons are current in the CCLC Shared Google Drive.
- Recruit, qualify, and train staff and community members to facilitate groups and teach classes.
- Verify that all facilitators and instructors have completed new-hire paperwork and training.
- Create and implement surveys to determine student needs and interests.
- Use survey data to establish types of support groups and after-school classes offered.
- Develop support-group and class descriptions; create online registration brochures and newsletters.
- Secure instructors and facilitators from district-wide and outside sources.
- Reserve spaces for classes and groups; arrange substitutes as needed.
- Communicate regularly with building administrators, school counselors, teachers, community service providers, and the CCLC Director to align programming with observed student needs.
- Gather and review feedback from students, guardians, facilitators, and instructors; modify curriculum accordingly.
- Prepare semester and end-of-year reports for the CCLC Director, including participation numbers and feedback.
- Manage the annual Voyagers and Student Connections budget with the CCLC Administrative Assistant, including setting class pricing and hiring instructors.
- Attend required monthly CCLC department meetings and one monthly staff meeting at each middle/high school (CFMS, CFHS, CVHS).
- Support building and district initiatives, including strategic-planning goals and parent/staff education on barriers to learning.
- Assist with other CCLC programs, events, and classes as needed.
- Complete required professional-development opportunities.
- Use Cisco Duo for multi-factor authentication when accessing district systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay
$19.17 – $23.26 per hour
