Role Overview
Employees are our greatest strength and the customer is our primary focus. As an LSF Store Manager you are the ultimate ambassador of our brand. You are responsible for leading your store and are in a unique position to coach your staff, expand your customer base and continue to develop new strategies to drive the business.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and People Management
- Champion LSF’s purpose and strategy, and motivate and inspire the team
- Set clear goals and expectations for the team with consistent performance feedback
- Monitor team performance and growth, recognizing contributions and celebrating successes
- Manage team morale and talent retention, providing clear feedback and coaching
- Foster team’s ongoing growth and development through training and on-the-job learning
- Manage performance, handle issues, and resolve conflict in a calm, objective, and fact-based manner
- Recruit and retain staff to reflect market demographics and anticipate future business needs
- Display a strong commitment to self-development and growth
Create the Customer Experience
- Lead by example, creating an environment and team that consistently delivers transformational customer experiences
- Engage with and train the team to develop and manage a productive selling environment
- Own the customer journey in your store, customizing it for your customer demographic and enabling productive customer relationships
- Develop and support strategic initiatives to build the customer base and increase repeat business
- Emulate the brand aesthetic and embody a strong sense of fashion sensibility and enthusiasm
- Partner with Corporate Management to ensure the assortment strategy aligns with business needs
- Maintain the LSF aesthetic across all touch points, including associate presentation, dress code, visual standards, maintenance, and merchandising
- Generate new ideas and apply an entrepreneurial spirit to help build and continuously improve the business
Operational Excellence
- Adhere to all operational procedures and ensure efficient store operations
- Manage expenses such as payroll/wages, supplies, and other expenses in a business-focused manner
- Enforce people policies and accurately process employee paperwork
- Ensure consistent inventory movement by managing mark-downs, transfers, consolidations, receiving, and POS transactions
- Partner with Corporate Management to ensure alignment and timely communication
- Maintain the store’s physical appearance and cleanliness
- Contribute to successful company growth and asset security through effective Loss Prevention methods and policies
Drive the Business and Deliver Results
- Hold self and team accountable for achieving financial targets through monitoring and improving measurable statistics that drive the business
- Manage people resources to maximize sales, traffic flow, floor coverage, and customer engagement
- Analyze, interpret, and apply data (both internal measures and external trends) to identify key issues and maximize the business
- Report key information to corporate partners
- Run the business with agility, changing direction and continuously improving based on key indicators and lessons learned
