Role Overview
Employees are our greatest strength and the customer is our primary focus. As an LSF Store Manager you are the ultimate ambassador of our brand. You are responsible for leading your store and are in a unique position to coach your staff, expand your customer base and continue to develop new strategies to drive the business.
This requires a constant balancing of priorities, including strategic, operational, and leadership excellence with an authentic approach. Leading your team strategically with a vision to achieve a transformative client-centric environment, financial and operational goals and model the LSF culture.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and People Management
- Champion LSF’s purpose and strategy and inspire the team
- Set clear goals and expectations for the team with consistent performance feedback
- Monitor team performance and growth
- Recognize contributions and celebrate successes
- Coach and mentor team members
- Foster team’s growth and development through training and on-the-job learning
- Manage performance, handle issues, and resolve conflicts
- Recruit and retain staff to reflect market demographics and anticipate future business needs
- Develop self and grow professionally
Create the Customer Experience
- Lead by example and create an environment that consistently delivers transformational customer experiences
- Train and coach the team to develop and manage a productive selling environment
- Own the customer journey in your store, customizing it for your customer demographic and enabling productive customer relationships
- Design and support strategic initiatives to build the customer base and increase repeat business
- Maintain the LSF aesthetic across all touch points including associate presentation, dress code, visual standards, maintenance, and merchandising
- Partner with Corporate Management to ensure the assortment strategy aligns with business needs
- Generate new ideas and apply an entrepreneurial spirit to help build and continuously improve the business
Operational Excellence
- Adhere to all operational procedures and ensure efficient store operations
- Manage expenses such as payroll/wages, supplies, and other expenses in a business-focused manner
- Enforce people policies and accurately process employee paperwork
- Manage inventory movement by ensuring accurate and timely mark-downs, transfers, consolidations, receiving, and POS transactions
- Partner with Corporate Management Team for alignment and timely communication
- Maintain store appearance and cleanliness
- Implement effective loss prevention methods and policies
Drive the Business and Deliver Results
- Hold self and team accountable for achieving financial targets
- Analyze, interpret, and apply data to identify key issues and maximize the business
- Report key information to corporate partners
- Run the business with agility, changing direction, and continuously improving based on key indicators and lessons learned
