Full-Time Special Term Contract Instructor – Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a Full-Time Special Term Contract Instructor for the Engineering School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics for the 2026–2027 academic year. This position involves teaching engineering courses and supporting algebra and calculus-based physics instruction.

Responsibilities

• Teach engineering courses in multiple instructional modalities, including in-person, online, and hybrid formats.
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic programming.
• Participate in student advising and departmental initiatives.
• Assist with academic events and outreach activities that support program growth and student engagement.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with 18 credit hours in Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.

Qualifications

• Commitment to high-quality instruction and collaborative program development.
• Experience in mechanical engineering is preferred but not required.

• Ability to teach in multiple instructional modalities.
