Job Purpose

This is a seasonal part-time position from October 14, 2026, to April 14, 2027. The Lift Operator oversees lift station operations, ensuring smooth and safe passenger handling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist guests with safe loading and unloading of the ski lift.
• Ensure all skiers/snowboarders have valid tickets/pass before boarding.
• Perform daily pre/post-operation inspections and document operations accurately.
• Provide instruction and customer service to enhance guest experience.
• Warmly greet guests and answer questions promptly.
• Communicate operational updates and lift status to guests.
• Meet service level objectives and department goals.
• Maintain load/unload ramps and Lift Shack areas by clearing snow and debris.
• Identify and report potential hazards, demonstrating a pioneering spirit.
• Avoid accidents and evacuate disabled lifts if necessary.
• Support overall lift operations and resort success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Physically able to assist customers while loading/unloading lifts.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well in teams.

Pay and Schedule

Hourly pay rate is determined by the resort and varies based on experience and qualifications. Standard hours are required, with weekend availability and flexibility to accommodate peak periods.
