Full-Time Routesetter

About the role

High Altitude Fitness is seeking a Full-Time Routesetter to join their team at their two facilities in North Lake Tahoe. The position offers a unique opportunity to live and work in one of the most beautiful places on the planet, surrounded by mountains, boulders, trad climbs, and sport routes.

Responsibilities

• Setting/forerunning boulders four days a week between the Truckee and Incline Village Facilities in the Lake Tahoe area.
• Performing hold washing/wall maintenance as needed.
• Other routesetting related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Significant commercial routesetting experience (2-3+ years preferred).
• Comfort working at height with a strong knowledge of work at height systems.
• Ability to consistently forerun V7/5.13.
• USAC Level 1 or higher certification.
• A growth mindset and desire for self-improvement.

Pay

• $26 – $30/hour, depending on experience
