Full-Time Routesetter

Position Overview

Create boulder problems and routes aiming for fun, interest, and creativity. Collaborate with the team, provide and receive constructive feedback, and perform basic maintenance tasks.

Basic Requirements

• At least 1 year routesetting experience
• Effective forrunning up to V5 and 5.12-
• Ability to set 2 routes in rope terrain and 5-6 boulders per day
• Strong understanding of climbing techniques and movement skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic understanding of USAC rules, regulations, and policies

Preferred Skills

• 3 years routesetting experience
• Effective forrunning up to V8 and 5.13

Compensation

• $23-$30/hour (commensurate with experience and skills)
