Pay Ranges

  • Registered Nurse (RN): $29.22 – $39.45 per hour
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): $24.33 – $32.00 per hour

Additional pay incentives: $10.00 per hour evening shift differential and a $20,000 sign-on bonus (offered for 2 PM – 10 PM shift only).

About the Role

The Nurse is responsible for providing safe, high-quality nursing care to residents in a senior care setting in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state and federal regulations. This role includes:

  • Assessing resident conditions
  • Administering medications and treatments
  • Monitoring for changes in status
  • Coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team
  • Supporting resident comfort, dignity, and quality of life
  • Resident and family communication
  • Documentation and supervision of nursing assistants
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical standards

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current license to practice nursing in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Current CPR certification
  • Organized with the ability to maintain accuracy, possess computer experience, and a willingness to learn new software
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written assignments using the English language
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with nursing assistants and nursing administration
  • Outstanding customer service skills using a friendly, outgoing, and customer-first approach
  • Pleasant personality with the ability to work closely with staff, residents, and family members in a calm, cooperative, respectful, and professional manner
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to perform duties listed in the job description with autonomy
  • Flexibility to accommodate changing priorities
  • Must meet the physical demands of the job as described in the job description
  • Must meet all pre-hire screening requirements for employment
