About the role
Nursing Supervisor in the Observation Unit, responsible for leading and coordinating staffing, ensuring quality patient care, and managing clinical objectives across various nursing specialties such as Emergency, Critical Care, and Women & Family.
Responsibilities
- Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during shifts
- Assess patient needs
- Develop and distribute care assignments
- Respond to patient care concerns
- Ensure resource availability
- Set priorities
- Participate in hiring, training, and staff evaluation
- Maintain productivity standards
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing with at least 1 year of relevant experience
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer
- Ability to exercise independent judgment in shift planning and patient care management
