Full-Time RN Clinical Educator

The Clinical Educator is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing educational programs within clinical units or departments. They provide bedside training to staff, ensure competency through skill validation, and serve as a resource for clinical practice and orientation of new employees. Key duties include developing evidence-based educational activities, overseeing policy updates, conducting routine audits, and fostering professional growth among staff. The role involves designing orientation, continuing education, and practice improvement initiatives that enhance patient safety and quality outcomes. Additionally, the educator collaborates with management to address clinical practice issues, maintain staff competency records, facilitate practice and documentation changes, and support clinical program development. They may perform direct patient care to maintain clinical skills and serve as a mentor and leader within the healthcare team. Qualifications include a Registered Nurse license, a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, and BLS certification.
