Clinical Nurse Educator - Full Time

About the role

The Clinical Nurse Educator (RN) plays a vital role in supporting nursing staff through orientation, competency programs, continuing education, and professional development initiatives. They design, implement, and evaluate educational curricula that promote evidence-based practice, patient safety, and align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding and orientation for nursing staff
• Maintain competency records and ensure compliance
• Serve as a mentor and role model for nursing professionals
• Collaborate with academic partners and interdisciplinary teams
• Develop engaging learning experiences using diverse instructional methods (e.g., simulations, workshops, e-learning)
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Support performance enhancement and clinical skill development
• Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and adjust as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience in clinical nursing practice
• Experience in nursing education or staff development

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty nursing certification (e.g., CCRN, CNOR, etc.)
• Prior teaching or precepting experience
