Full-Time RN - Acute Care Neurology

About the Role

PRN Registered Nurse position in the PVH Neurology department, providing direct patient care in an acute care setting with a focus on Med-Surg units of moderate to high acuity.

Responsibilities

• Utilize top-of-scope nursing practice and apply evidence-based care.
• Prioritize patient wellness and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Support new staff through precepting and contribute to safety and quality at the point of care.
• Deliver specialized acute care and engage in ongoing specialty education.
• Support a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (required if less than 3 years' experience).
• Active RN licensure.
• At least 6 months of RN experience.
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC.
