About the role
Provides high-quality, direct patient care in a specialty acute care (Med-Surg) setting, utilizing the nursing process to achieve optimal outcomes. Emphasizes a multidisciplinary team approach, evidence-based practice, and patient-centered care. Supports new staff through precepting and fosters a culture of safety and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care for patients with moderate to high acuity, adhering to clinical standards and specialty education models.
- Contribute to safe, efficient, and effective care delivery while supporting clinical education and competency validation.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (if less than 3 years’ experience).
- Hold a valid RN license.
- At least 6 months of RN experience.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire.
