Full-Time Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care, including oxygen therapy, diagnostic testing, ventilation support, and patient education for all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and wean oxygen and ventilation support
• Analyze arterial blood gases and EKGs
• Assist with artificial airways
• Deliver treatments as ordered by physicians
• Perform routine and advanced respiratory procedures
• Document clinical information accurately
• Ensure patient safety and comfort
• Adhere to safety standards in environments with exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials
• Maintain current certifications and safety regulations

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
• Valid state Respiratory Therapist license
• NBRC CRT certification
• BLS certification (ACLS required within 90 days of hire)
