Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN)
About the role
The Nurse will function as a dynamic member of the patient care team, providing education and guidance to fertility patients throughout their journey. This position works collaboratively with Providers, Counselors, REI Nurses and Third-Party support staff to provide FDA compliant, timely, and professional services.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the care, management, and treatment of fertility patients throughout their treatment journey.
- Implement provider-directed diagnostic and treatment plans in accordance with established clinical workflows, policies, and practice guidelines.
- Review medical records and laboratory results, maintain accurate EMR documentation, and ensure FDA documentation is complete, accurate, and readily available.
- Communicate test results, treatment instructions, and provide patient education, setting appropriate expectations and supporting informed decision-making.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care by performing nursing interventions, providing emotional support, addressing concerns, and promoting patient safety.
- Serve as a liaison among providers, patients, interdisciplinary teams, and external third-party agencies to coordinate care and optimize the patient’s experience.
- Collaborate with REI nurses to support patients and resolve patient concerns using a multidisciplinary approach.
- Assist providers with in-office procedures as needed.
- Participate in the education, training, and mentorship of nursing staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Active RN license without limitations -required
- BCLS and/or ACLS -required
- BSN Degree-highly preferred
- Must be able to work weekends -required
- 2+ years clinical nursing experience -required
- Prior experience in women’s healthcare -preferred
Qualifications
- Proficient in nursing assessment
- Proficient in computer programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail
- Solid work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Superior time-management, customer service, and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, stress and multiple simultaneous work demands in an effective and professional manner
