Full-Time Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Role Overview: The Head Nurse oversees patient care, staff management, and daily operations within a nursing unit. They utilize the nursing process to make critical decisions, ensuring safe, compassionate, and high-quality care that respects patient autonomy and dignity. They provide clinical leadership, collaborate with other disciplines, and support continuous improvement in healthcare delivery. Key Responsibilities: Interpret and review diagnostic data related to patient conditions.Collaborate with leadership to identify and implement department improvements.Guide interventions during life-threatening situations and evaluate outcomes.Develop innovative processes to enhance patient outcomes.Participate in clinical leadership activities such as coaching, staffing, and performance evaluations.Engage in activities aimed at improving healthcare delivery and support lifelong learning.Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar setting or specialty area.Computer literacy.RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS preferred.
