Full-Time Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Role Overview The Head Nurse oversees patient care, staff management, and daily operations within a nursing unit. They utilize the nursing process to make clinical decisions, partnering with patients and families to promote health, safety, and dignity. The role involves providing clinical leadership, ensuring continuity of care, and collaborating with leadership to meet departmental goals. Key Responsibilities Interpret and review diagnostic data relevant to patient conditions.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement change.Provide guidance during life-threatening situations and evaluate intervention outcomes.Drive innovative processes to enhance patient outcomes.Participate in clinical leadership activities such as coaching, mentoring, staffing, and performance evaluations.Engage in initiatives to improve healthcare delivery and support lifelong learning.Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting or specialty area.Computer literacy.Valid RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.Preferred: ACLS certification.
