About the role

Provides comprehensive patient care in various settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to promote patient dignity, autonomy, and health restoration. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization of care, while adhering to safety and cost-effective practices.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses patients based on their medical condition.
• Administers medications as prescribed and provides age-appropriate care.
• Develops and evaluates patient and family education plans.
• Collaborates with healthcare teams and assists physicians with procedures.
• Addresses psychosocial needs and coordinates post-discharge care.
• Ensures safety, reduces risks, and promotes efficient resource use.
• Engages in lifelong learning to maintain professional competence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a relevant clinical setting and recent clinical education hours.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Computer literacy required; RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Preferred certifications include ACLS and PALS.
